Hey guys, I just wanted to drop in to let y'all know that we are aware of the problem with the MySQL for layout download/preview and tutorial viewing. I think it's that the counter's script is outdated and disagrees with the newest version of MySQL. Thus, I did a temporary fix for at least the layouts. I have too much going on (and a bloody migraine) to deal with the other pages.

Also, I apologize for my horrible absense. I know my last update was in August, but my life has been really ~~crappy~~ hectic for the past year since then, so I want to thank you all for bearing with me. I have not given up on Vis, and Ryk and I are indeed planning a revamp. If you're curious, there's a slightly outdated preview of the new layout.

Also, if any of you have noticed, Elysium Designs is no longer located at http://ed.myprayerbeads.org because Aki has decided not to renew her domain. I have bought Mel a new domain, and the new Elysium Designs will be located there! So, please change your links, and don't give up hope.

Unlike Mel, we're not going to take Vis down because I don't know how long it'd be until it comes back up again. But rest assured, there are going to be much-needed changes. I added a new layout, Stardust, a few months ago but never wrote the update for it, so feel free to take a look. Otherwise, I need to get back to studying. Until then~

ETA The problem with the layouts should be fixed now. I'm getting around to the links and tutorials too, just give me a moment.

Happy New Year, everyone. I hope 2008 is working remotely better for you than 2007. (For me, so far, so good.) Regardless, I come bearing some very late yet much deserved gifts. As can be seen from the feature, there's a new frames pre-made featuring Hakkai of Saiyuki up for grabs, and well as 21 new icons featuring everything from Gucci models to John Barrowman. (Speaking of John, the new season of Torchwood is like liquid cocaine. Purrrr.)

As for why you've been cursed with only my ~~horrid~~ designs for the past few months, Kyuu's currently struggling with some personal issues. Where it's not my place to discuss her private life, at the moment graphic design is not high on her priority list, which is very understandable. This time last year I was going through a similar episode. Regardless, she will be returning to Invisis within the next month or so. Until then though, I'll do my best to keep the updates rolling. Wish me luck! ♥

Not an update of substance or good-bearing, but I wanted to take a quick (even if late) moment to wish you all a Happy Holidays. I hope 2008 brings you all the proper opportunities your hearts desire. Also, I want to apologize for the lack of activity here at Invisus. Kyuu's been having an extremely stressful year school wise, and my life goes through odd spurts. Nonetheless, where I cannot guarantee the beginning of 2008 to be all the more "plentiful," over the next few months we promise a great deal more content updates, especially come late April. But fret not, things can only look up from here.

And despite all that free time, my updates really lack, huh? *is shot* Nonetheless, I come bearing several... gifts? Several new 88x15 button templates have been added. Additionally, a new pre-made is up, designed by yours truly, featuring photography from one of Gucci's new 2007-2008 Fall/Winter (US) campaign. I was reading Out magazine when I came across the ads and fell in love with the texture, hues and juxtaposition. Currently you'll find the layout listed under "Movies," but that section will soon be renamed to "Film" to be more encompassing.

Also, Kyuu and I are mulling over the idea of having a contest this November and December. Details are still very sketchy, but when we come to a final decision, it will be posted here right away. Have a nice week, loves!

Yeah, I know. Miracle of all miracles, I'm actually updating. It's Christmas three months early. [/end sarcasm] I apologize for my disappearance though, something I can blame on both my previous (yes, as in I'm no longer working there) job and having to pack my entire life into three boxes and move it across four provinces. So here it is, my first update from the heart of the University of Toronto Mississauga. I'm finally settled in, classes are underway, and I'm trying to get accustomed to this whole "free time" concept. And yes, it's fucking frightening.

Nonetheless, a small but plentiful update. I've added over 21 new animanga icons from series such as NANA, Loveless, Tactics, and the webcomic Vampirates!. All in all, enjoy, and expect more soon(er than later). ♥

Yo, sup, peeps. 8) After like five months, I finally decided to make pre-mades for this site. I can't tell how they are since I haven't designed in so long, but I hope they turned out okay. *sighs*

So, I have two of them. One is Sakura from Tsubasa, which is a div layout, and the other is Ritsuka and Soubi of Loveless, which is my favorite type: a classic and old-fashioned frames layout. I actually looked back and apparently I haven't made any frames layouts since the Viewfinder one. *DIES* I fail so hard.

Go check them out! *prodprod* You know you want to. And tell me what you think, 'cause I have no clue how I did. 8D;;

Anyway, Vis will be getting a new layout soon, since I'm actually planning on submiting it for my college apps, which I'm going to do this year. I think I'm going to try something shiny and Web 2.0-ish looking, but let's hopes that goes right. In the mean time, help me find Rykea again (Oh gosh, I haven't talked to her in almost three weeks now. ;_; She's headed off to Toronto in about two weeks.) and enjoy the new layouts~

OOPS. *dies* Also, I forgot to mention: we have two "new" affiliates! Please pay Hieica of Harienju and Megori of Intoxicated Designs a visit! Their graphics are gorgeous~
